EASTSIDE Magazine 2025

Your support keeps every issue of EASTSIDE Magazine FREE and accessible to our community. Over the past five years, EASTSIDE Magazine has earned the trust of East San José as a collective platform amplifying our stories, voices, and cultural pride.

We've published 21 issues exploring themes that matter to our community—from raíces (roots) to puentes (bridges), from wellness and solidarity to tradition and hope. Along the way, we've:

Produced over 40,000 print copies
Grown to 1,600+ digital subscribers and 4,500+ social media followers (and counting!)
Collaborated with 280+ contributors—many emerging writers and creatives sharing their voices for the first time
Supported 10–15 artists and contributors per issue with stipends

Join us in celebrating this milestone at our 5th annual fundraiser and release party, [EN MOVIMIENTO], at the Mexican Heritage Plaza on Thursday, April 24th.
Doors open at 6 PM.

This event helps sustain EASTSIDE Magazine as a platform for East San José—uplifting our stories, artists, and shared cultural legacy. Donations will be accepted at the door. Every contribution directly supports our mission of keeping local storytelling alive and thriving.
