Help families build budgets, credit, savings, and stable homes.

Your gift supports affordable housing, free financial education, and HUD certified coaching for families in Fairfield County and across Connecticut. As we celebrate 40 years of service, we invite you to help strengthen the work that started in Bridgeport and now reaches communities across the state.

$5 helps print and translate class worksheets

$10 helps send reminders and book a coaching visit 

$25 funds a credit report for a first coaching session

$50 provides materials for a parent workshop 

$100 supports follow up in a foreclosure or eviction prevention case 

$250 provides print and digital materials for multiple classes

$1,000 supports a homeownership coaching series for a new buyer

Larger gifts welcome. For example, $5,000 helps purchase a high efficiency boiler for a two unit home or an energy efficient window set.

Building Neighborhoods Together (BNT) creates safe, affordable housing and provides free financial, first time homeownership, and home retention coaching through our Empowerment Resource Academy. 

In 2025, we served over 2,000 adults and 1,000 youth. Just over 100 families became homeowners, and over about 200 households avoided foreclosure or eviction. We support the state financial literacy course in Bridgeport high schools and deliver workshops at summer camps and afterschool programs.
