ALTA CHARITABLE FOUNDATION


Who We Are

The ALTA Charitable Foundation (ACF), a 501 (c)(3) organization, was founded in May 2021 to help ALTA pursue its mission - provide "communities-at-large with leadership and resources to promote quality practices and guidance in the field of dyslexia."


Why Give

Up to twenty percent of children with dyslexia struggle to learn to read. The truth is, we can only help the children who are identified and who receive intensive, diagnostic therapy. But to do this, we need more ALTA certified professionals. With your support, ALTA members can change lives, one child at a time.


Where the Money Goes

All funds raised support the ALTA Charitable Foundation through the following:

  • Scholarships for individuals pursuing ALTA Certification (CALT/CALP).

  • Scholarships for certified ALTA members pursuing instructor-level certification (CALT-QI/ICALP).

  • Community awareness events
