Help the Douglas family support a cause that means so much to us — Genetic Support Foundation and the DNA Dash 2026!

Whether you walk, run, roll, cheer from the sidelines, or simply donate, your support helps families across the country access trustworthy genetic information and compassionate support during some of life’s biggest moments -- from hereditary cancer risk to prenatal diagnoses and rare genetic conditions.

As many of you know, genetics is deeply meaningful to our family and to the work I do every day. I see firsthand how overwhelming and isolating genetic information can feel, and organizations like Genetic Support Foundation help make sure families are met with education, guidance, and support when they need it most.

And because it is us -- we figured we might as well make it official with a race.

Here’s the fundraising challenge:

* If we raise $1,000, I will complete the dash in an inflatable dinosaur costume.

* If we raise $2,000, Mr. Douglas will join me for an inflatable dinosaur foot race.

Honestly, that alone may be worth donating for.
