2025 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend - Team Hope Story

Hey there!  I am excited to share with you that I signed up to run a 10K at Disneyland during the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend in 2025 on Team Hope Story.  The purpose for me to run this race on Team Hope Story is to raise money for a wonderful charity that supports Down Syndrome.  The Hope Story Inc provides information and support to those families that receive a Down Syndrome diagnosis.  As most of you know I teach Special Education and teaching children with disabilities is my passion.  I have had the privilege of teaching several students with Down Syndrome and they have a special place in my heart!  Helping the families I work with gives me such purpose and appreciation to experience the different learning styles.  I have made special connections with my student's families and they will last a life time!
