Discovery Center & Demonstration Gardens Initiative

If you've visited our campus in Wiscasset, you likely encountered our Learning Center and Tasting Room buildings. These spaces represent the first steps towards our educational mission - but they're not the whole picture! To complete the onsite experience we hope to one day offer our visitors, we have two more major projects on the horizon. 

Discovery Center: Renovate existing building into an exhibit hall that will house exhibits co-curated by Maine's food and beverage associations. We envision the Discovery Center as a visitor center of sorts, where people can learn about a variety of Maine's food and drink industries and producers in one central location. 

Demonstration Gardens: Purchase additional land for the purpose of constructing extensive demonstration gardens that highlight the industries and associations represented in the Discovery Center. Wild blueberries, heritage grains and so much more!
