Glory Bound winter retreat arrives soon!

Glory Bound 2023 is open for registration! This retreat keeps the fires of the faith burning in the young people. There's still room for high school boys and girls, December 30-January 1. $133; financial aid available.Click HERE to register.

Summer Camp 2024 is coming!

We're interviewing counselors and planning the events. Registration for the summer will open around December 15; keep your eyes on the camp website (www.stcak.com) and Facebook and Instagram pages for breaking information.

Built To Last

We want St. Therese’s to impact children and young adults for decades to come.  We are taking important steps towards sustainable staffing of the camp. In August the camp purchased (with the funds from Trailblazers and monthly donors) and moved (with some generous one-time gifts) a 20’ x 24’ woodshop to convert into housing for a new staff member. Please join us in preparing this humble abode for the newest St. Therese’s Camp worker! We estimate the materials cost of renovating the cottage to dry cabin status at $23,000. A later phase, probably the spring of 2024, will bring water and septic service to the cottage after the ground thaws.

The cottage represents the board’s commitment to providing depth in our staff because we want St. Therese’s to go the distance.

Why We Do What We Do

St. Therese’s Camp exists to bring young people into contact with Jesus. Everything we do-from personnel to programming to food to facilities-exists to meet that mission.

I’m impressed with the Catholic exposure and increased knowledge that my kids come home with. My kids LOVE the camp counselors' nicknames and the surprise of not knowing their real names. It’s such a little detail that makes things so fun. No one complains about the food or the bedtimes, so all successes there. Messy war is always a favorite activity.

It is a pleasure to support St Therese's Camp and all that camp has done for our son personally. Camp has helped him maneuver these teen years, understanding his purpose and Christ's love for him. He has gone to a lot of camps but St. Therese’s has had the greatest impact. Thank you.

My kids had such a wonderful time. They learned so much about God. They enjoyed going to church everyday. Their counselors were fantastic. They really loved the paintball guns and bow and arrows and loved learning some survival skills. They thought the food was excellent! They liked the music and the counselors. They had such a blast and cannot wait to return next year!
