The Digital Democracy Institute of the Americas (DDIA) opened its doors one year ago today to build a healthier online world for Latinos.

We uncovered disinformation trends, networks, and identified which lies were most prevalent online. We offered journalists and civil society best practices for building resilience against manipulation, and launched a training program for local Latino journalists and content creators.
