DC underground.
capitalizing on access to congressional and senate leaders gained through our consulting, lobbying, and social justice work in recent years allows (un)common good collective to participate as a leading conversation partner with forward-thinking US lawmakers.
we do this by meeting with legislative leaders ourselves as well as through collaborating with a number of organizations lobbying for equality, fair treatment, and the basic rights of those most marginalized and oppressed in society at the heart of our nation's capitol.
(un)common good collective has participated in various crucial stages of development for the Equality Act, the Inclusive Aging Act, the Tyler Clementi Higher Education Anti-Harassment Act, the Corporate Transparency Act, and others.
in our current cultural climate, we are convinced that at least some DC leaders are willing to listen to and seriously engage faith leaders to invite and support more equitable, just, and sensible legislation.
