Water Infrastructure

We need to secure our water infrastructure now and for the foreseeable future by utilizing and expanding tools such as regeneration basins, injection wells & increasing capacity for water reprocessing. Together we will use these tools to increase our control & influence over our water infrastructure to create a sustainable water plan for future generations of Visalians. This is perhaps the most important thing we can do for our area, to ensure that the central valley agriculture industries can thrive once more. It is crucial we solve this problem as soon as possible.

Supporting our Community and Homeless Populations

We must use available resources to help our community members who are struggling with housing instability to attain stable and safe living conditions. I also support facilitating opportunities for personal & economic growth and development, with an end goal of enriching our local economy with new, tenacious and productive business owners and entrepreneurs. We need to increase access to shelters, food services, education, mental health services and low-income housing.

By increasing revenue from new industries, such as cannabis dispensaries within city limits, we can help mitigate the struggles of our underserved community members, while simultaneously bringing in millions of dollars into our local economy, creating new jobs and expanding the resources and services available.

Downtown Visalia

We must continue to support the revitalization of Downtown Visalia by helping established businesses thrive and encourage the opening of new businesses. We should be proud that so many of our local businesses endured through a global pandemic and continue to serve our city in the face of economic hardships. Downtown Visalia should be the beating heart of our community, where people go to eat, shop, create, perform, and regularly participate in local community-building events. We can help our citizens enjoy Downtown Visalia even more by creating more pedestrian and pet-friendly areas, expanding outdoor eating options, better supporting our brilliant artists and musicians, and adding places for families and friends to gather.

Parks & Recreation

I support the expanding of our Parks & Rec. Department by adding facilities for outdoor/physical recreation, walking, cycling, and public transit to encourage and facilitate the physical and mental wellbeing of everyone in our beautiful city.

Public Safety

As a growing city we must continue to ensure that our public safety officials, both Fire and Police, have the tools, training, and resources necessary to keep our community safe
