Daz Carre is taking on The Ultra Ice Challenge on 22 February 2022 for the PPBF.
The Ice Ultra is an epic self-sufficient ultramarathon across Swedish Lapland, within the Arctic Circle. The race is a fully marked, 230km course spread across 5 stages of Arctic tundra, endless pine forests, snowy mountains and frozen lakes.
Daz explains why he wants to help our charity; “PPBF were able to help house some close friends of mine in one of their Southampton apartments for a period of time whilst their son was undergoing extensive life-saving treatment, so the choice of charity was an easy one.”
Please help Daz raise the vital funds so that other Bailiwick of Guernsey families can benefit from using Aggie's Burrow and Isaac's Pad. The lifeline flats keep families close and provide a sanctuary when their child is in Southampton receiving life saving treatment in the Princess Anne hospital.
