Goal
Hello, my name is Silvio Dos Reis and I am also known as Mestre Silvinho. I might have mentioned to you that I am in the board of the Union Cultural Center. It is something I am really proud of, and I am reaching out because this work means a lot to me. I am draw to UCC because the work we do has a deep impact in the community through providing classes at schools, have our ongoing monthly classes and organizing dialogues, move nights and workshops. I believe these inclusive activities brings to our community a positive view of the world through music, movement and conversations. Also, they are part of the community building process promoting positive change.
I am personally invested in the success. of UCC because for me is a unique place where teachers, students and community can culturally express themselves learning from each other through the educational approach of the cultural arts present at the space. I really can feel that as soon I come inside I am entering a place of creation, joy and celebration.
