UCC’s First Annual Dance-A-Thon Friendraiser

To laugh is an act of Resistance | Rir é um ato de Resistencia |

Reir es un acto de Resistencia

As many of you know, practicing Capoeira Angola for the last 25 years has been one of the most important parts of my life. Thank you for all of the parties and rodas you have attended and supported over the years. In the Seattle area, I am a student of the Union Cultural Center and a proud Board member. The UCC has been an incredibly important place for me since moving up here and been an anchor for me and our family. Please consider supporting us!

Event Overview

Join us on Saturday, November 22, for UCC’s Dance-a-Thon, a full day of movement, music, and community connection!

Experience back-to-back 90-minute classes led by our incredible teaching artists and partner organizations, beginning at 10 AM. Each class offers a unique style and spirit, celebrating the diversity of dance traditions that make UCC a cultural home for so many.

Grab an all-day pass with party access, or sign up for one or two classes. Every pass helps sustain our programs and community space.

Fundraising Goal

This event also serves as a vital fundraiser for UCC, with a goal of $5,000 to help sustain our programs and community space.

Thanks to our generous Board, the first $2,000 raised will be matched dollar-for-dollar, doubling your impact.

Come dance, celebrate, and contribute to keeping our shared space thriving!
