​Dan Janutolo Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Appalachian Regional Healthcare Development Fund, with headquarters in Hazard, KY, established this fund in memory of Dan Martin Janutolo. Dan died in 2003 after devoting many years to ARH as member of the Board of Trustees and of the local and regional advisory councils. A graduate of WWHS, he attended WVU and later graduated from Park College in Kansas City, MO. He served 23 years in the Army, worked for Arthur Young and also Commerce Savings and Loan in Texas, and then returned to Beckley in 1988. This scholarship will be awarded to a high school graduate who is enrolled in nursing. Originally for MSU, it currently benefits the Bluefield State College program.
