The Doman's are career educators who both recently retired from the teaching staff at Woodrow Wilson High School. Dan taught physics and Becky taught art. Becky, an award winning artist as well as an instructor, is active in the Beckley Art Group and continues to support art-in-education initiatives. Dan is a member of the BAF Board of Directors; his service as vice-chair and chair of the Foundation’s Distribution Committee made him acutely aware of the value of discretionary funds available for meeting current community needs. The Doman’s utilized the Neighborhood Investment Program and a matching opportunity offered by the Massey Foundation to establish this named unrestricted fund.
