MentorSports Gymnasium

Welcome to Freedom Community Ministries, Inc. and MENTORSPORTS INC.

We’re building more than just a gym—we’re building a legacy of hope, opportunity, and community.

MENTORSPORTS Gymnasium is a 5,500-square-foot facility filled with purpose. It includes a full basketball court, two pickleball courts, and an NBA regulation-size half court. We also offer enriching programs like yoga, chess, mentorship, and more—all designed to help our children grow stronger in body, mind, and spirit.

Throughout the week, our gym is a place of connection and care. We offer:

• Free play and open gym time for youth

• Free meals for children in need

• Mentorship and life-skills coaching

• Community partnerships with Clayton County schools

• Programs for seniors, including pickleball and wellness

Thanks to the generosity of our community and supporters like you, we’re excited to share that the building is now standing! The inside framing, rough plumbing, and electrical work are complete. We are now working toward the next phase: powering the lights, finishing the parking lot, and bricking the exterior.

We are now on track to complete construction by the fourth quarter of this year—2025 will begin with a fully operational MENTORSPORTS Gymnasium!

As Ephesians 6:7–8 reminds us:
“Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people… because the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do.”
