Who We Are:

Over the past 5 years, DCSR has consistently stood up to sustain medical programming for the most marginalized communities in Miami-Dade County, all of which have become increasingly vital to our local safety net system. DCSR’s unique service model brings medical professionals outside the hospital and into the communities most impacted by unaffordable housing, unlivable wages, criminal legal Injustice, climate change, and limited access to healthcare.

DCSR is an Independent non-profit that hosts medical residents and medical students In conjunction with the University of Miami/Jackson Health System. Through Multi-specialty education, training, and programming alongside reputable community organizations already serving the needs of those most impacted, DCSR turns advocacy into action.

DCSR’s programming (see diagram below) currently includes our street medicine team, Miami Street Medicine, a free urgent care, a disaster relief team, a long acting inject-able clinic and our mobile crisis team, which all provide free and year-round medical and case management services for those living In Miami-Dade County. Miami Street Medicine is an essential program and a foundational component of DCSR’s work.

What Do We Do:

WE PROVIDE HEALTHCARE TO MIAMI'S MOST VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES AND WE DO IT FOR FREE.
