This year, at the Creative Institute, 8 students came from all over Arkansas to work toward careers where they can use their creative skills to help small businesses and nonprofits.

Because we wanted to build equity in the creative workforce, this summer we took a leap of faith and decided to offer the program at no cost.

Our plan was to continue receiving OSD grant funding from AR to cover our instructor costs. Unfortunately since our program doesn’t fit the traditional trade school model, we were denied funding.

That means our director (Nick) and board have relied on family foundations and individuals to help fund the Emerging Talent Program.

As we are nearing the end of 2023, we only need to raise $8,000 before the end of the year. Many of you have already given, and we are so thankful, but we need a little more help to keep this program going.
