Hi everyone! My name is Zach and I have the joy of serving at CRC.
When I was in elementary school I came to CRC for summer camp and had a great experience. I remember the cabins I slept in, I remember all of my camp counselors, and I know I was encouraged in my Christian faith. Throughout high school and college, I served on the summer staff for a total of 7 summers. Serving at CRC had a tremendous influence in my life as I continued to grow in my faith journey, and holistically as a young adult. In my director role, I try to create an atmosphere where other people can have a similar experience that I had at CRC. This includes counselors building relationships with their campers, counselors having opportunities to serve and lead, and for the hope and peace of Jesus to be spoken and displayed.
Because of everything that CRC has provided for me, I want to partake in the Waterslide Slide-a-Thon to help pay off CRC's debt that is remaining on the camp's newest facility, the White Oak Lodge. All funds raised by the Slide-a-thon will be attributed to CRC's Project 3,000 Extra Giving Effort. To learn more about Project 3,000, follow the link below.
