CRC Waterslide Slide-A-Thon 2026

When Zach and Wendy pitched the Slide-a-thon idea to me in 2024, I thought it was a great plan, and when I heard that it was actually happening, I was super exited to say the least. I got ahold of some friends, and we were ready to sign up for the fun, and we all plan to singed back up again and are ready to reclaim our title of Ultimate Sliders. We will come back with the same energy as last year and will take back the mantle of Ultimate Sliders.

Gage Berrier- For me CRC is a wonderful place full of fun, excitement, and sharing the love of Christ. I was a camp counselor 3 years and I loved it. After my first year on summer staff, I asked Zach if I could work at camp in the offseason and thankfully he said yes. I never went to CRC as a camper and nether has the rest of my team, but we know how big of an impact camp has on people year round. It’s especially has a big impact on the children that come during the summer  and every one of the counselors provides a great spiritual influence on the campers. I'm sadly not working at CRC anymore, but I'm fully willing and love helping camp in any way whenever I have the extra time to do so.

Sam Capotosto- I attend the same church as Wendy, and when she asked me if I wanted to participate in the slide-a-thon again, there was no doubt in my mind I had to do it a third time. 

Carter Wynn- The first year when Gage told me about it, I thought It sounded fun and there was room, so I decided to slide in on the fun, and I had so much fun last year that when I saw CRC was doing it again, I told Gage I'd gladly do it for a second time, for our title of Ultimate Sliders.

What is a Waterslide Slide-A-Thon?

It’s exactly what it sounds like, a slipping, sliding, splashing day for a great cause! Participants raise support from family, friends, and the community, then take on CRC‘s 140-foot waterslide-slip and slide continuously nonstop for two hours straight. Whether you’re sliding or cheer from the sidelines, it’s a fun way to be a part of something meaningful.

Me and my team’s goal is to raise $750 to support CRC and the ministry that happens here every day.

CRC is one of our favorite places and has given me many memories, friendships, and experiences over the years. I'd love to help others enjoy those same opportunities.
