CRC Waterslide Slide-A-Thon 2025

When Zach and Wendy pitched this Slide-a-thon idea to me last year, I thought it was a great plan, and when I heard that it was actually happening, I was super exited to say the least. I got ahold of some friends, and we were ready to sign up for the fun, and when I heard it was happening again this year, we all singed back up and are ready to keep our title of Ultimate Sliders, despite our small name chang the Scottish Sliders are coming back with the same energy as last year.

Gage- For me CRC is a wonderful place full of fun, excitement, and sharing the love of Christ. I was a camp counselor 3 years and I loved it. when camp had ended in 2023, I asked Zach if I could work at camp, and he said yes. I'm sadly not working here anymore, but I'm fully willing to help camp in any way, which I love doing.

Sam- Zach and I go to the same church, but we first meet when I was attending youth group. I enjoyed talking to him. When Gage informed me about the slide-a-thon, I just knew that I had to sign up, and when Gage said it was happening again we started setting up a team as so as we could to keep out title.

Carter- It sounded fun and there was room, so I decided to slide in on the fun, and I had so much fun last year that when I saw CRC was doing it again, I told Gage I'd gladly do it for a second time, for our title of Ultimate Sliders.

Join us for CRC’s 2nd Annual Waterslide Slide-A-Thon—a thrilling, 140-foot waterslide challenge with one BIG goal: to raise $15,000 for Project 3,000, our initiative to eliminate CRC’s lodge debt so we can continue to provide meaningful, faith-filled experiences for campers of all ages.

🛝 How It Works

From 10 AM to 12 PM on Saturday, August 16, participants will take as many runs down the slide as they can while gathering support from friends, family, and local businesses. Afterward, everyone’s invited to enjoy lunch and celebration!
