COVID-19 Relief Fund For Women Of Color

The Woman XChange is a Non-profit Organization whose mission is to support the collective advancement of women of color through resources which amplify the power of women-centered narratives and create safe spaces for them to thrive and evolve.

Due to the recent, pandemic and the impact that COVID-19 has had on communities of color and brown and black women, we have created a relief fund that can help provide assistance to women of color who have lost their main source of income and/or whose hours have been significantly reduced from their current job or business. The Woman XChange will provide relief grants per applicant. Applications will be reviewed and selections will be made on a first come first serve basis. Funding is based on the amount of money we have available to allocate.

Eligibility Requirements:
-Must be a Woman of Color
-Must reside in the United States
-Must have lost main source of income or had hours significantly reduced

Our goal is help 50 women of color!

We would love to raise a minimum of $4,000 to gift 20 women $200 grants, as soon as the application goes live on May 1st. ANY donations—no matter the size—would be greatly appreciated by the women of color who are most financially impacted by the effects of the pandemic.

This relief fund is to help and support Women of Color.

COVID-19 has affected all of us in unprecedented ways. In particular, the lack of adequate support, has left communities of color vulnerable to the economic shortcomings in the U.S. We know that women of color are at the absolute bottom of the economic totem pole and lack access to quality resources that could help during these difficult times.

As we continue to wait out this pandemic, we anticipate a huge negative economic impact, a rise in substance abuse, domestic violence, and mental illness—especially among Women Of Color.

Woman XChange, Inc has set up this fund to donate and support Women Of Color who have been financially impacted due to COVID-19. We are asking for donations to help with this emergency fund to support Women of Color during these difficult times.

All money raised will be distributed to Women of Color who meet the requirements as stated in the application, which will be available starting May 1st. This emergency fund is only for women of color in the United States.
