Covered in Love

Right now, in the heart of Uganda, 28 children are bracing for the rainy season without the supplies they need — and now, without clean water.

The orphanage's water well has broken, forcing children and nearby villagers to drink from a nearby river — the same place where animals bathe. It's not just unsafe. It's life-threatening. Waterborne diseases and parasites are common in unfiltered river water. And for growing children, the consequences can be devastating.

At the same time, malaria spreads quickly during the rainy season, especially when children sleep on cold, damp floors without proper mattresses or coverings.

This campaign — Safe, Warm, and Watered — is raising $3,500 to care for 28 children and help restore clean drinking water for hundreds.
