Since M4L Fauquier Co launched in June 2022, we have successfully worked with FCPS1 to improve leadership at our schools, create a library notification policy, and encourage parental engagement with family and candidate forums. This year alone, the efforts of our members successfully stopped the implementation of SEL curriculum in our middle schools and advocated for a new superintendent who engages and cooperates with parents rather than holding them at arm's length, while also continuing to advocate for budget transparency. We are effective in Fauquier County. 

In 2024, we look forward to:

•      supporting our state legislative action committee’s efforts to support parental rights-minded legislation, 

•      bringing dynamic trainings and speakers to our area, and 

•      continuing to support our parents and students in FCPS1 schools.

Nationally, the woke mob has been working overtime to paint us as "extremists." Considering the true extremism our world is facing, their efforts are especially heinous. Locally, there are groups and media obsessed with dividing us. They paint us, and anyone advocating for parental rights, as hateful and antagonistic because we believe you deserve a place at the table when decisions are made that impact your kids. Advocating for our children is anything but extreme.
