Counseling Education & Entrepreneurship Programs

COUNSELING, EDUCATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP (CEE)

Our CEE Programs help equal the playing field where public schools cannot due to inadequate funding. The annual Cost of inadequate education in terms of lost income, lost wealth and contribution to GDP is over $956B lost in equity gaps. Black Americans experience systemic losses across all sectors of the economy leading lower wealth, health, and income income inequality, cumulatively amounting to trillions each year. These disparities affect individuals and drag on the broader U.S. economy. Closing gaps in education, health, wealth, and justice could unlock trillions in GDP gains, improve productivity, reduce public spending, and enhance societal well being. For example as early as 2008, a McKinsey study found that a persistent achievement gap in education deprived the US economy of as much as $2.3 trillion in economic output.

MHRF CEE PROGRAMS ENSURE EQUAL ACCESS TO QUALITY EDUCATION

It’s essential that we advocate for charity and policies that reduce social and economic inequalities. This includes addressing systemic issues like poverty, structural inequality, and socio-cultural determinants inequality which disproportionately affect children from BIPOC and marginalized communities. Fair policies and equal access to quality education, healthcare, housing, and justice can create a more equitable society where all children have a chance to succeed. The United States is under funding its K-12 public schools by nearly $150 billion annually, robbing more than 30 million school children of the resources they need to succeed in today's economy.

Access to a quality education is one of the most powerful ways to change the trajectory of a child’s life. Education empowers children with the skills, knowledge, and critical thinking necessary to pursue opportunities and contribute to society. Investment in early childhood education, K-12 schooling, and equitable access to higher education or vocational training is crucial. Donate to bridge the skills gap. Today’s children are exposed to a wide range of negative influences, including harmful media content, peer pressure, and substance abuse. MHRF CEE programs fill the gap between of harmful media content, peer pressure, and negative influence with life coaching, career exploration & development, goal setting, credentialing, and experiential learning.

It’s important to guide children, young adults, veterans, and economically disadvantaged people families in navigating these challenges by teaching critical thinking, self-discipline, healthy decision-making, and entrepreneurship perspectives. Parental and community involvement in monitoring and setting boundaries for media consumption and peer interactions is a primary key to behavior modification toward forming successful habits.

Cognitive behavioral therapy is interwoven in our CEE program which serves as a powerful motivator in environmental control. Our integrated programs focus on community development, clean renewable energy, affordable housing, smart villages, and economic empowerment for equality of life for disadvantaged populations and communities. for More MHRF community development programs please visit: https://mhrfinc.org/projects
