Indian Community of Colorado Springs
Hi,
On behalf of the Indian Community of Colorado Springs (a nonprofit organization under Internal Revenue Code (IRS) Section 501 (c) (3)) I'm proud to announce that we are hosting our annual charity show, Lok Kala (Folk Art). The event will be held on November 16, 2019, at Roy Wasson Academic Campus.
This event not only helps raise funds for other nonprofits but it also raises awareness education, promotion, and appreciation of culture and performing arts of India and transferring these values to future generations.
Since the event’s inception, we’ve raised and donated thousands of dollars to other nonprofits, including Morgan Adams Foundation, CASA, Red Cross, local Police, and Fire Departments, to name a few. And this year, we plan on raising even more! So far, we are expecting approximately 800 attendees, volunteers, and participants. We will also host Mayor Suthers and the Chief of Police and Fire Department as our guests of honor. Our event is also published in Gazette and on local TV channels.
However, this event wouldn’t be possible without the support from its local community. Would you be willing to donate to help make this year’s event successful? With your donation, we’d be able to continue our mission of Indian Community of Colorado Springs.
Please join us! With your donation, we’re one step closer!!
Sincerely,
Kavita Basak, Chairperson
Indian Community of Colorado Springs
