Meals July during Covid-19 lockdown in Uganda
HELP US FEED THE KIDS DURING THE MONTH JULY!
Due to the Covid-19 Virus the schools in Uganda are closed since 20th March and our children miss out on their daily meals.
The last 3 months we have handed out already posho, beans, sugar, salt, soap and silver fishes to 267 families and printed out the homework 375 kids thanks to our amazing team on the ground in Uganda and to more than 500 donations. We were hoping that the schools would open up again on the 1st of July, but for the safety and health of everyone they did not.
To give only the 375 kids (and not their siblings) one meal a day we need: 187.50 euro per day. So that is for August (31 days) 5.812,50 euro.
1 kilo of posho = 0.80 euro
1 kilo of beans = 1.25 euro
For everyone who is financially not able to give right now, we know you are also going through hard times and we highly appreciate your thoughts for us and sharing our campaign. Our heart is out with everyone affected, please be kind to the people around you and make sure to support yourself, friends and families!!
We are in this together! ❤
