Goal
Construction of Servo Medical School
Servo Medical School is a subsidiary of the Terizina Community Foundation, the school provides training in medical courses such as Nursing, Clinicians, Dentistry, Lab Technicians, and Pharmacology. The school was launched in September, 2019 with a medical camp undertaken. The medical camp saw to it that persons with malaria were tested and treated free of charge, others that were diagnosed with other diseases were referred to other hospitals and pharmaceuticals with medical instructions. Servo Medical School will help contribute to boosting the health service in Gulu community area by nurturing more health service providers who will help cover the shortage of health service providers in the greater northern Uganda region.
Through Servo Medical School we provide opportunities for education in the medical field t brilliant but financially disadvantaged students, we endeavor to provide them with a world class quality training. We also ensure to provide ready jobs as is our model to create peripheral health care clinics to ably reach out to the community that is spread out and without access to quality and affordable health care services. We further identify persons in the community that are most in need and either subsidize the cost of their medical care or offer medical care services to them entirely free of charge. We charge fees from other 'able' paying clients and utilize that as our sustainability model. However, to keep this program running we equally depend on your donations from time to time. Your donation will give someone a chance to education, it will give another person a chance to affordable and or free medical care, not to forget allowing us purchase equipment to install in the school to support learning and in the peripheral health care units to support medical service delivery to communities.
