On July 20th 2024, I'll set out in an attempt to reach the roof of Africa at 19,341 feet: Mt. Kilimanjaro. In doing so, we'll be making an effort to help bring awareness and provide solutions for those who have found talking about and seeking help for their struggles with mental health too daunting. There are far too few quality providers to begin with, and often services are not covered by insurance leaving those suffering with few options to turn to. By facing a challenge of our own in Kilimanjaro, we hope to inspire hope and the fight to climb their own mountains in their lives. Please consider donating to this cause as all funds will be used to work with additional NPO's in Dane County, Wisconsin to provide mental health services to those whom otherwise couldn't afford proper care. All funds raised will go to the effort to support mental health care and the trip to Kilimanjaro itself will remain self-funded.
