Conner was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in April 2016 when he was 9 years old.  We definitely did not expect our Sunday morning Urgent Care visit for a stomach bug and an “oh, my son’s right leg is swollen at his knee, can you look at that while we are here” would turn into a cancer diagnosis.

One moment you are on top of the mountain of life and the next you are tumbling down at full speed and crashing into everything as you fall. Eventually, you slowly start to claw your way back up the mountain but it takes love, support, and prayers from your family, your friends, your medical team and complete strangers who hear your story.  Sometimes support is money; donations to charitable organizations like MIB Agents who make it their mission to find safer and more effective treatment options for our kids who are fighting to stay alive.

At just 9 years old, Conner doesn’t understand everything he has and will endure, but he knows its hard to be away from his family and his pets as he travels to other states for treatment and away from his friends at school.

Please donate on behalf of Conner so that we can make it easier for our kids fighting so hard.

MIB Agents Note:  MIB Agents is so grateful for the time and talent of the Crossan Family to Make It Better (MIB) for kids with osteosarcoma.  Casey Crossan has been an important part of our FACTOR Conference working both in Registration and as the Thank You Agent, writing and sharing thank you notes from across the nation to doctors and researchers attending the conference.  Lynda Crossan has held a golf tournament to raise money for osteosarcoma research and is planning her second one (we think the capes for the winners were pretty cool!).  All of the Crossan Family were a part of the success of our annual Macy's Shop For A Cause Event too!  The Crossans have donated much-needed funds to our OutSmarting Osteosarcoma Research Fund.

The Mission of M.I.B. Agents is to Make It Better for children with osteosarcoma, bone cancer.  With love and hope, M.I.B. Agents:

  1. Pairs a child in treatment with a survivor of their same cancer including through MiB Gamer Agents.
  2. Provides items of comfort and entertainment (iPads, iTunes Cards, Noise Cancelling Headphones) for their treatment and recovery
  3. Arranges end-of-life experiences and/or comfort for the child when options for treatment have been exhausted and they are on home hospice care.
  4. Raises funds and awareness to increase research for better treatments and outcomes for those with osteosarcoma, including through the first osteosarcoma conference FACTOR and through our annual $100,000 funding initiative, OutSmarting Osteosarcoma.

M.I.B. Agents makes it better by helping to increase the quality of comfort and life for kids with osteosarcoma with the help of our community of dedicated and passionate Agents.

We are committed to Making it Better for adolescents and young adults with bone cancer (osteosarcoma). Our dedicated team pays no salaries, so your donation has a profound and direct effect on our missions.
