Connect Child and Family Solutions

In 2018 we began the process of becoming licensed foster parents. In August we had our first placement and since then we’ve been on a journey of many experiences. In less than one year we’ve been exposed to the reality of hospitalizations, educational advocacy, and residential facilities, to name a few. 

It quickly became apparent to us that we have multiple teams working around the clock to provide excellent quality of care to the children, foster families, and biological families in our community. These resources seemed to always give, without being adequately resourced themselves. We longed to provide a solution to that problem.

In 2019, Connect Child and Family Solutions was born. Connect is a community-based organization with a pending non-profit status. We partner with local fostering agencies, both public and private, and have created the resources of this organization based on the needs voiced by our city’s frontline caregivers.
