Goal
The world produces more than 14 million US tons of polystyrene (plastic foam) each year. Americans alone throw away around 25 billion Styrofoam cups every year.
And by volume, Styrofoam products fill up 25-30% of ALL landfill space around the world!
This is a global issue that we need to come together & take action on NOW!
Luckily... We've discovered a type of beetle larvae that compost styrofoam... No joke!
They've been proven by Stanford to fully digest polystyrene (what Styrofoam is made out of) and it's the answer for this global crisis.
When you donate today, your donation will go directly into the creation of the first polystyrene composting facility in the world. With your help, we will be setting up in Los Angeles and start by composting broken surfboards so that our oceans are no longer polluted with more Styrofoam particles.
Nature has already provided us with the solution, now it's time to take the first step... together.
