The Irrepressible - Company 360

Covid may be poised to change modern society ... and in so doing change the arts landscape forever ... but we have an incredibly powerful, and now more prescient than ever, show that will find a stage once this is lifted ... and in the meantime we need to keep that ghost light lit ...

Company 360 is an equality driven, non-discriminatory professional performing arts company that focuses on benefitting the community at large. It features both acting and dance, while personifying the belief that arts should be accessible to ALL. Company 360 performers need to be highly diverse and skilled in a variety of movement modalities, being well-rounded (360) and multi-talented artists, as well as informed and giving citizens for life.

Our Mission

“Company 360 is a professional performing arts company that strives to think outside itself. We believe in creating artistic work that establishes community, promotes social awareness, and connects humans through styles of dance as dynamic as our artists and diverse as our audiences."

Our Vision

“Company360 will create access to professional dance by establishing a full time professional company, an inclusive part-time company, and a tier of training companies within the region. We will create full length narrative works and storybook contemporary ballets that both educate and entertain. Company360 will support the community through the creation of adaptive dance programs, in-school residencies, non-profit collaborations, and the sharing of an educational model and curriculum that inspires the arts community to uphold the highest standards of respect and inclusivity. Company360 will make art for all by providing digital and disability friendly experiences for dancers, audiences and dreamers alike. Company360 will fight the stigma, sizeism and sexism in dance while maintaining the highest standards in training, technique, and performance.”

Our Past and Present:

In 2017 we partnered with House of the Roses Volunteer Dance Company, Inc. (HOTR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that brings the joy of dance, creative movement, and performance to at-risk children and youth in New York City's homeless shelters and community centers.... StepVA a non-profit that teaches dance to special needs children... and we raised awareness of Cystic Fibrosis and Organ Donation.

In 2018 we were blessed to be able to continue our growth by garnering two residencies. We were highlighted in a series on Only Good News Network while also finding our way into Dance Magazine, Pointe Magazine, and The New York Times. We were afforded opportunities to bring in guest choreographers and artists including the likes of the incomparable Julia Vessey and brilliant Emily Moran. We successfully committed to and achieved our goal of producing bi-annual original narrative gala performances... highlighted local nonprofits such as e3Kids International... and founded and launched the 360 Youth Company: a performance opportunity for kids ages 8 to high school, bringing together area dance studios, families and students to further their artistic development.

Thus far in 2019 we have blown our audienceship's collective mind with an incredible original showing of "Bridges" following three generations of Americana set to Paul Simon.

Next up: On November 1st and 2nd, follow our story arc into the ethereal plane of "Between" and keep an eye out for little gems of carryover while being transported through our narrative!
