Community Kitchen
In light of the coronavirus and the effect it is having on the United States and its infrastructure and economy, LOJ is partnering with a local churches and restaurants in Lynchburg, Virginia to provide relief for the Lynchburg community.
“Our vision is to make sure no one in our community goes hungry and no food goes wasted,” says Myke Barron, of BSM Management Group. “Even with empty store shelves, schools closed for the rest of the semester, and countless residents out of work, there’s more than enough food for everyone–it’s just a matter of distributing it better. We have to realize we’re all in this together, even if we have to support each other from six feet away!”
Your donation will be used to purchase food to prepare and distribute. We are working with local churches and the City of Lynchburg government to distribute food. You may also donate nonperishable food items that can be shipped or dropped off to 1208 Main St. Lynchburg, VA 24502
