Hello family and friends!

I am very excited to share that I will be running another marathon on June 22 of this year! It’s Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth, Minnesota. These races are always thrilling for me, and the feeling of accomplishment at the end is quite overwhelming. This race not only am I running, but I will also be campaigning for a non-profit organization that is very important to our family- v-ATPase Alliance. My 15 year old daughter, Peyton was diagnosed with an ultra-rare genetic disorder ATP6V1A, about 6 years ago. We waited years for a diagnosis, and even after receiving the news, we were left clueless with so many unanswered questions. There are only a few dozen people known in the ENTIRE world to have this rare disease.  My goal is to spread awareness and show my support for this group and our non-profit organization! Doing this will unite families going through this battle, advance scientific research, and ultimately develop effective treatments for v-ATPase children.
