Williamson County School Board - District 8

I'm excited to announce I'm running for Williamson County Board of Education in District 8!
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:  I began my career nearly 20 years ago as an oncology and bone marrow transplant clinical pharmacist, and have served in various healthcare leadership roles for the past 11 years.  I'm currently the Senior Director of Knowledge Management at HCA Healthcare, and have held a faculty appointment as an assistant professor at the University of Tennessee's Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Translational Science since 2008.
WHY I'M RUNNING:  While I am grateful for my career and proud of my professional accomplishments, I know my most important job is Mom.  My two daughters attend Grassland Elementary School, and my niece and nephews also attend Grassland schools.  I want to do everything I can to help our schools thrive for years to come.  I'm a proud product of Hamilton County, Tennessee public schools, and my husband is a graduate of Brentwood High School.  We love this community, and know we are fortunate to raise our daughters here. As District 8 school board representative, I will be a voice and advocate for parents and students, and I will work hard to ensure the values and priorities of our community are reflected in district policies.
AFFILIATONS AND FINANCING:  I'm not accepting any PAC donations.  I believe in conservative principles, but I have no special interests or political agendas to push.  I simply want what's best for my kids and yours.  Therefore, my campaign will be fully funded by moms just like me, engaged citizens, and the voters I will represent.
Paid for by the Committee to Elect Shauna Graham, Regina Berrell, Treasurer.

Thank you for running! Thankful to have more people on the board with a common sense approach that listens to the voice of parents.
