A paw for Colombia's animals after the quake

On August 10, 2026, Colombia was hit by a 7-4-magnitude devastating earthquake, severely affecting families, communities, and animals in many areas, including the iconic Coffee Region.

From the very beginning, animal rescue organizations and volunteers have been working to help animals affected by this emergency.

One month later, the emergency continues...and so does our commitment.

Colombianimals an Animal Care Project and Spay Project Colombia are joining forces to continue that work. After this natural disaster, this community needs us more than ever.

This December, we’re carrying out a sterilization campaign for dogs and cats affected by the earthquake, with a goal of spaying and neutering 400 dogs and cats within 4 days.

Sterilization is more than a surgery. It prevents unwanted litters, reduces suffering, and helps vulnerable communities protect their animals’ future. We’ve seen firsthand how one surgery can transform a life.

Join us in making a positive difference by making a donation today. I will be traveling from the Maritimes to Colombia to help in the efforts this December with Colombianimals!

¡MUCHAS GRACIAS! Thank you for your donation and support as we fundraise for this cause.
