Goal
American actor Misha Collins has become an ambassador for the UNITED24 fundraising platform. This was announced after a meeting with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, which took place during the Supernatural star's visit to the capital of Ukraine. Collins is honored to lend his support to UNITED24's Humanitarian Demining efforts.
Misha Collins is best known for portraying the angel Castiel on Supernatural and Harvey Dent on his new series, Gotham Knights. Collins has a long connection to Ukraine: his paternal lineage traces back to eastern Ukraine and Kyiv Oblast. He studied Ukrainian politics and history in college, has visited Ukraine several times, and has been actively supporting Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion. On the anniversary of the full-scale war, he recorded a video message for UNITED24 in Ukrainian.
This recent visit is especially meaningful to Collins because it came during massive missile strikes on the capital. Other than meeting the President, Collins was in Chernihiv Oblast, saw the work of Ukrainian de-mining teams and offered his support.
"The citizens of Kyiv are some of the bravest and most resilient people in the world. They have been standing strong against the oppressive forces of russian's armies and fighting for their independence and sovereignty for over a year in a war most of the world expected to have been won by the Russians in just a few days. I believe that Ukraine will prevail thanks to the courage and resilience of its people, and I’m proud to be here and to express my solidarity with Ukrainians by supporting the Humanitarian Demining direction. The area of mined territory in Ukraine is increasing daily. It will take years to clear it of mines. Children and farmers die from mines every day, so it is critical that we take action now to clear these mines. I am committed to helping raise awareness and support for this humanitarian effort so that Ukrainians can be safe and free for generations to come." commented Collins
Join Misha's fundraiser towards special armored vehicles. These are designed for transporting unexploded mines and self-made explosives for further neutralizing.

I don’t have much, and my belief and donation run counter to the beliefs of those I am surrounded by, but this is too important to ignore. We must continue to stand with Ukraine instead of letting wrongful invaders win.
