American actor Misha Collins is an ambassador for the UNITED24 fundraising platform. This was originally announced after a meeting with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, which took place during the Supernatural star's visit to the capital of Ukraine. Collins is honored to lend his support to UNITED24's Humanitarian Demining efforts.
Misha Collins is best known for portraying the angel Castiel in Supernatural and Harvey Dent in Gotham Knights. Collins has a long connection to Ukraine: his paternal lineage traces back to eastern Ukraine and Kyiv Oblast. He studied Ukrainian politics and history in college, has visited Ukraine several times, and has been actively supporting Ukraine since the beginning of the russian invasion. On the anniversary of the full-scale war, he recorded a video message for UNITED24 in Ukrainian.
Other than meeting the President, Collins has visited Chernihiv Oblast, seeing the work of Ukrainian de-mining teams. He offered his support:
"I believe that Ukraine will prevail thanks to the courage and resilience of its people, and I’m proud to be here and to express my solidarity with Ukrainians by supporting the Humanitarian Demining direction. The area of mined territory in Ukraine is increasing daily. It will take years to clear it of mines. Children and farmers die from mines every day, so it is critical that we take action now to clear these mines. I am committed to helping raise awareness and support for this humanitarian effort so that Ukrainians can be safe and free for generations to come."
Join Misha Collins' fundraiser for a pyrotechnic demining vehicle. This vehicle will help deminers to clear Ukrainian lands, transporting explosive objects and substances to the point of their elimination. The vehicle is armored and easily moves off-road. Its crew is protected by a shield to prevent debris from flying and to reduce the impact of explosive shockwaves while transporting EODs.
By making a donation of $24 or more, you will participate in a raffle of Misha's trench coat from and 5 ties autographed by him in the style of the angel Castiel from Supernatural. The number of contributions from any one person is unlimited. Join in!

I am from Germany and like to support this important and meaningful fundraising. I totally stand with the Ukrainian people and have the biggest respect for them as they are so brave and powerful. When the war started caused by the Russian invasion we had carnival here in Germany but it was stopped in Covid times. I just want to share my feelings , I was so shocked that day, for the first time realising that I can be so happy to live in such a rich state like Germany and never had to experience any kind of war. The total opposite took place. We celebrated carnival with party, laughing , costumes and parades and in Ukraine the people fight to survive, died, the beautiful counted was destroyed. Now it is almost a year and it is so shocking and kind of weird but it’s like the world accepted the fact that the war is still taking place . There are still a lot of people die every day, still families have no houses, lost kids, children can’t go to school. But for us it is close but became a standard, no news about it anymore in Radio, TV and newspaper. And therefore I am happy that there are good people who still support the Ukraine because that’s what is needed and we should never forget it. We should try to help if we can. I can be just happy to not go through any like this and when I saw the post of Misha I wanted to help immediately. For me personally Misha Collins is one of the greatest , kindest humans and best actors in the world and he has such a pure heart and only good intentions. He is trying to help as much people and reaching out to as many as possible. He know that he has a great fan base, a big impact on his fans and worldwide and he uses it only for good matters. I look up to him and want to spend 50€. There will be people giving more , giving less but it counts that you want to help.
