Cobb County Fire and Emergency Services launched their Pre-Hospital Blood Transfusion Program mid-February.  This program gives the Paramedics the ability to administer blood in the field. Having this resource available, increases the chance of survival in critically injured patients. To date, blood has been administered 18 times with 15 of those being successful. 


Currently, Cobb Fire has 2 equipment sets. Due to the size of Cobb County, they need 4 more equipment sets to decrease response time and increase the efficiency of the program.


Let's come together as a community and provide these 4 equipment sets to increase the medical resources to Cobb Fire! Together WE CAN!
