The Chairmaker's Toolbox 2025 Year-End Support Drive

This was our biggest year yet! We hired 3 amazing employees, doubled our class offerings, expanded our educational opportunities from beginners to teachers, collected hundred of more tools to give away, and identified key areas for growth in the chair making field.

We are raising $30,000 in the form of recurring monthly, tax-deductible donations so that we can deliver even more scholarships, classes, and tools to new makers.

Your donation supports:

• Scholarships for new aspiring chairmakers

• Support for up and coming chairmaking instructors

• Postage and packaging to collect and send tools

• Tool restoration needs

• Funding our small-but-mighty newly paid staff

ANY AMOUNT HELPS!

$5 a month covers the postage shipment of hand tools

$10 a month pays for the behind-the-scenes class preparation required to run a class

$25 a month covers the cost of a log for a group of students

$250 a month supports a class of six new chair makers breaking barriers in the field 

Every dollar helps us make this dream work. Monthly donors ($5 or more) will receive a limited edition sticker sheet celebrating the chair types made by CMT students in 2025!
