Goal

The U.S. DOJ, has filed a CCW process suit against the County of Los Angeles based on the issues that have been brought to light through the CRPA lawsuit that is ongoing against the County of Los Angeles Sheriff! The U.S. DOJ is greatly concerned about the Sheriff delays in issuing CCWs to citizens that can sometimes take a year or more to process.

Absurdly long delays in processing CCW applications and other bureaucratic tricks have resulted in a lawful citizens being deprived of their rights.  This kind of action by the federal government puts anti-issuing Sheriffs on notice that they better not play games with constitutional rights or they will find themselves embroiled in costly multiple federal lawsuits.

Ever since the Bruen decision came down, CRPA has been hard at work ensuring that each and every one of California's 58 counties implements a "Bruen-compliant" CCW process.  This effort takes many shapes from administrative prodding to our lawsuit against the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and the Santa Clara Sheriff.

We celebrate more attention being brought to these counties who refuse to follow the law and continually deny the rights of the people of bear arms.
