Support Climate & Biodiversity Action

Landscape architects know that nature-based solutions can address the climate and biodiversity crises — while delivering economic, environmental, social, and health benefits to communities across the country.

ASLA is developing a new Climate and Biodiversity Action Plan, led by a five-member Task Force and a 33-member Advisory Group of leaders in climate, biodiversity, equity, and advocacy.

This updated plan (building on our 2022 Climate Action Plan) will set bold goals for 2026–2030 — placing climate and biodiversity as equal priorities and focusing on solutions that are equitable, actionable, and measurable.

The new plan will be released at the 2025 ASLA Conference on Landscape Architecture in New Orleans and will guide the profession toward transformational change by 2040. Learn more at: asla.org/climate-biodiversity
