A fundraiser in memory of Regina Nazarkewich 

This fundraiser for anti-drone devices is in memory of Regina, the fearless Fella who passed away on the 9th of december. 

Since the start of the russian invasion, Regina has been supporting the Ukrainian cause whole heartedly, with all the love and energy she could give. She was a cherished member of the Nafo community where she was tiresly supporting and organizing fundraisers and pushing to keep Ukraine in our hearts and minds. 

Anyone who knew Regina knew how passionate she was about getting protective gear and medical aid to Ukrainian defenders.  In fact, at the time of her death, Regina was trying to come up with a plan that combined these important life saving initiatives. More specifically, a way to protect medical aid from being targeted.  So  in conjunction with Regina’s wife & her loved ones, and with their blessing, we have decided to come together for a proper send off in fulfilling her wishes. From the many possible options, we decided to cooperate with the upcoming fundraiser of Ukraine Aid Ops for anti-drone devices.

The present drone war has made the battlegrounds along the front almost fully transparent. Every movement of troops or materiel is revealed, day and night. In this situation, anti-drone guns or devices can play an essential role in protecting soldiers from the relentless Russian drone warfare. UAO is raising funds to buy 24 of these devices (both guns and domes). This subcampaign in memory of Regina aims to cover almost 25% of that.   

The dome-variant of the anti-drone devices are especially suitable for protecting moving objects, and we will make sure several of the purchased items will be used for this purpose which Regina felt so strongly about. 

For this fundraiser we are making patches of Regina's Fella portrait. They will be sent to each donor contributing $100 or more to this campaign.

So on behalf of Regina’s offline and on line families, on behalf of everyone who her laughter has touched and on behalf of her brothers in arms in both her home in USA and Ukraine, Regina, we salute you.
