STAND WITH UKRAINE - WAR Relief Response
SUPPORTING UKRAINE DURING THE WAR
For more than three months, the Ukrainian people have been suffering irreparable loss of human lives and destruction from the aggression of the imposed “Russian world.”
Despite the horrendous losses and overall pain, Ukrainians continue being united in helping one another, praying and doing good deeds, also uniting many countries of the world that have extended their helping hand to Ukraine.
The unconquerable spirit of the Ukrainian people has become an inspiring example for other nations!
Christ is the Answer Ministries began its activities in Ukraine in 2014, when pro-Russian separatists and Russian troops took control of parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. During the hostilities, many people in the occupied territories were on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe. A group of volunteers, despite facing the danger, began to provide food to people affected by the hostilities in 2014. During that difficult period, volunteers, helping and supporting the victims, brought hope and light to their lives. Sacrificial hearts and non-indifference inspired many people in different parts of the world to support the Ministries’ charitable activities and become partners, helping those in need in the future.
Ukraine continues to be in the midst of the trials by fire
Civilians are suffering and dying in the war zone across the country. The enemy has destroyed houses, cities, critical infrastructure facilities, schools, churches and granaries throughout Ukraine.
At the most challenging time for Ukraine, when more and more people are suffering from the war, and the needs are growing every day, the missionaries of the Christ is the Answer are doing everything possible to participate in the lives of their fellow countrymen. The focus of our ministry is on low-income, lonely people, the elderly, orphans, widows, people with disabilities, all those who became even more in need during the war.
In cooperation with local churches, volunteers and missionaries, we work at the forefront: we feed, accept, host and help families with children, women, the elderly and people with disabilities to leave Ukraine.
When receiving humanitarian aid, we deliver it to particularly hot spots where people are cut off from food supplies.
Charitable food packages and medicines were received by those in need in the Donbas, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Kyiv and Mykolaiv regions.
CITA missionaries also continue evacuating people from the warzone in Luhansk (Lysychansk, Severodonetsk), Donetsk (Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Pokrovske, Slavyansk), Kherson (Kherson), Mykolaiv regions (Mykolaiv) to the west of Ukraine or to the border with Poland, Moldova, Romania.
Help for the people of Ukraine is becoming more and more urgent, because every day there are more and more people affected by the war.
We sincerely thank everyone who supports the service of the Mission in this difficult period for Ukraine! Your contribution is invaluable!
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will provide food, water, shelter, and other essentials for these displaced persons.
Let’s bring hope and light into the darkness for those who are suffering from this horrible war!
