In the DRC and the rest of the world, community health workers (CHWs) are vital connectors to preventative and life-saving health services. Communities trust CHWs because they go the extra mile: they meet their patients at home, understand their needs, speak their language, monitor their progress, and champion peace and well-being in more ways than one.
With a #CHWinEveryHome, we can achieve our mandate to Care, Cure, and Make Whole.
Since 2010, Amani has been working closely with CHWs. We have seen firsthand how these frontliners are improving health outcomes. With our goal of serving 1.5 million people in need of quality healthcare, we need your help to train more CHWs especially among the people who call the DRC home.
