After a decade of dedicated legal experience as a litigator, the City of Savannah appointed me as Judge Pro tempore for Recorder’s Court in 2018. I was later elected to represent the Municipal Judges as their District 1 representative. I was honored by this designation and worked diligently to represent the Municipal Court judges in my district. This experience taught me judicial procedure and how to personify the principles of the position. Juvenile Court later appointed me as Judge Pro tempore to handle judicial matters involving Chatham County youth. 5 years later, I continue to serve the citizens of Chatham County faithfully. During this time as judicial officer, I have met Chatham County families, listened to their challenges and ensured that the rule of law was followed. I look forward to continuing this practice as your next Chatham County Superior Court Judge.

I say this because as a community advocate, my philosophy was to give rather than receive. However, this election for Superior Court Judge is under a county wide spotlight and I know that I can’t win without your help. Therefore, I will ask humbly, but confidently, because the campaign needs early resources to strengthen and energize voter outreach to prepare for a very competitive campaign in 2024. Teamwork is the driving force that will push this campaign forward. I have always gravitated toward the grassroot team approach. Grassroots means that citizens of Chatham County are working alongside me, lock step, shoulder to shoulder because they believe in my judicial ability and respect my 15-year track record of community devotion.
