Putting smiles on children’s faces for Christmas
For many people in the Western world Christmas is a time for celebration, however thousands of poverty-stricken children that live in parts of Africa will sadly go hungry.
Here at Project Rescue Children, we are passionate about protecting children of all ages worldwide, and our number one aim is to ensure that the children in our rescue centres are happy and well cared for.
For the last three years, we have made it our mission to provide Christmas lunches and gifts for the children at our sponsored school, child trafficking and exploitation village program, and rescue centre in West Kenya.
With your kind and generous help, we hope to provide a buffet for all the children again this Christmas, as well as having enough to buy each child a new set of clothes.
There’s also one difference this year….
In collaboration with an amazing group of chefs 'Chefs Inspiring Chefs' from around the world and your support, we are ALSO looking to do this for children in our centre in The Gambia, as well as for children in Uganda who are survivors of child sacrifice.
Christmas lunch in The Gambia will be held at Bamboo Village Resort, in Kenya it will be at the Oyugis Splash Fun Park and for the children in Uganda it will be at the Llori Kids Play Village....but we are not stopping there... there is also a very special and big surprise for MANY more children in Uganda that we will reveal on the day!
For these children, this is a happy and fun-filled day they will remember and cherish forever, and YOU can play a big part in it.
The price of a coffee will pay for a child to have a buffet this Christmas and fill their tummies with nourishing food. All funds raised will go directly towards this special day.
Every child deserves to experience a magical Christmas and we are sincerely grateful to each and every one of our donors that helps us make this happen.
