Chris Shaw: Running Length of NJ

On February 28, ultra runner Chris Shaw will take on a massive challenge: a nearly 200-mile run across New Jersey, traveling north to south from High Point State Park to the Cape May Lighthouse. Chris has set multiple course records, and this isn’t just about finishing—he’s also aiming to push the pace and pursue a Fastest Known Time (FKT) on the route.

Chris is dedicating this effort to MissionCleanWater, raising critical support for sustainable clean water programs in Uganda. In too many communities, water systems break and stay broken—but MissionCleanWater operates differently. We maintain a 100% success rate because we don’t walk away once construction is complete. We stay involved, work alongside communities, and help ensure each system is managed so clean water keeps flowing long after the project is finished.
