Countryside Alliance,Fishing for Schools,Charles' Jurassic Coast Challenge

On Sunday 18 October 2026, Cai – my faithful Labrador - and I are taking on the Flora Maverick Jurassic Coast Hike, all in aid of Fishing for Schools.

We will be tackling 43km across some of the UK's most challenging terrain, but the cause is important and close to my heart.

For almost 20 years Fishing for Schools has been my life, and I feel incredibly privileged to have played my part in introducing thousands of young people to angling and with it, the confidence, skills and wealth of benefits gained from spending more time outdoors.

And we so dearly need to introduce the next generation to the sport!

Training has already begun… Cai is enthusiastic… my knees less so… and let’s not even mention the hip!

Every donation, no matter the size, will ensure more young people can benefit from taking part in Fishing for Schools and experience everything that angling has to offer.

Please support Cai and I in our challenge, we would be incredibly grateful.

Thank you for helping make a real difference to the next generation.
